553254_736977493045508_3491552463349138930_nIn the past I’ve posted about the HopeLine from Verizon, a network that has been connecting survivors of domestic abuse to vital resources and funding organizations nationwide.

Now, in advance of traveling to Chicago to once again meet with the #VZWBUZZ team, Verizon and HopeLine has announced another great program in their new Chicago Destination Store!

From now until December 1st, 2014, Verizon is donating $5 to @WingsProgramInc for each new line activation at the Michigan Avenue store. And, for every Twitter, Facebook or Instagram post with #VoicesHavePower $1 will donated to @WingsProgramInc, so share away!

The WINGS Program is an organization providing a variety of  services in an effort to end domestic violence and homelessness one family at a time in the Chicago area.

So do your part by tweeting, facebooking, or instagramming the hashtag #VoicesHavePower or head on down to the new Chicago Destination Store and activate that new phone.

And don’t forget to drag your old phones out of those drawers and storage bins and donate them to the HopeLine from Verizon program.  All of this goes a long way towards helping those affected by domestic abuse.

Below is the No More ad that encourages you to finally stand up and confront domestic abuse in your life.  For more info on The WINGS Program, visit their website at http://www.wingsprogram.com, or their YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/user/WINGSProgram .

Disclosure: As member of a pretty cool team of influencers, I receive mobile phones and other accessories and with line of service from Verizon. No additional compensation was provided nor did I promise a positive review. All opinions are my own.
