imagesSome moments in classic television are timeless.

Lucy’s fight with the chocolate conveyor belt.  Tim Conway talking about two elephants stuck together by their trunks.  The Soprano’s final episode.

But for me, there’s one five minute segment of a television show from 1978 that surpasses all classic tv moments.  It features Les Nessman, news reporter for WKRP in Cincinnati reporting on a Thanksgiving event at a local mall where turkeys are being dropped from a helicopter.  In the words  of Mr. Nessman, it gets kinda strange after that.

Watch the entire episode on Hulu, or just watch the some of the best tv ever below.

So, here’s my annual post of this tv gem, and Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
