Today was a big day. I’m not usually a media hound, but it seemed like I was everywhere today.
First, @KateSchell from KXMB News in Bismarck came to our monthly #NDTweetup meeting and conducted an interview with Scott Wild and myself. She then hung around for my presentation on Why You Should Be On Twitter Even If Your Customers Aren’t (presentation coming soon). That interview and the story should be shown on KXMB News on Monday or Tuesday of next week (Aug 16 or 17, 2010).
Later that day, I was asked to appear on the RedWild Show on URLRadio.net. The show features Scott Wild ( @WildInspire ) and Brian Matthews ( @RedSneaker ) discussing a wealth of tech, social media, and general interest issues on an internet radio station whose home is right here in Bismarck, ND.
I talked about an experience I had in 2008 that got me hooked on Twitter and has led me to acquire one of the largest and most loyal followings in North Dakota. Even though my throat was in pretty rough shape, I enjoyed the time on the show and look forward to talking with Brian and Scott again very soon.
