Computer mice have really progressed over the last few years.

They went from a clunky one button mouse, to a corded two button device, to a cordless, laser reading, ergonomic piece of equipment in a relatively short time.

So the logical next step is … invisible?

MIT PhD student, Pranav Mistry has developed a prototype invisible mouse using an IR-sensor and camera. It’s a bit clunky but as a concept it’s fascinating.
