Yesterday (June 28, 2010) I posted a story about a rumored social network under construction over at Google called Google Me.
No one had any hard proof about the system other than a tweet by Kevin Rose and some industry speculation.
But today, FastCompany has an article providing some more details, even confirming that Google has this project fully staffed and is moving full speed ahead.
Sources inside Google and other tech companies are confirming that Google is trying to recover from lost time and failure of Google Wave and Google Buzz.
So, should Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other be worried that Google is finally getting serious, or is everyone so far ahead that Google should just give it up and learn to integrate better with the rest of them? Post your comments below!
