I saw a post on Twitter today that detailed the Top 50 Worst Inventions of All Time.

One of these inventions was Clippy.  You remember Clippy… the paper clip that popped up at inopportune times in early versions of Microsoft Office?

Well, several years ago, when Microsoft released Microsoft Office XP, they retired Clippy.  And they announced his demise in a series of entertaining videos featuring Gilbert G0ttfried (the Aflac duck voice) as the voice of our hero.

For those of you who ever had Clippy ask you if you needed help writing a letter, watch and enjoy.  And while you’re at it, follow Clippy on Twitter (@paperclippy) – thanks @AmazonGrace!
